Palm
Beach, America’s International Fine Art & Antique
Fair preview opening night on Thursday, known as the
Vernissage, brought about 100 dealers from America and
Europe as well as collectors and visitors from all over
America as well as the social contingent from New York.
The evening, which began at the luxurious Palm Beach
Convention Center on Okechobee Boulevard in West Palm
benefited the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and
Martin Counties’ MOSAIC FUND.
The fair which began more than a decade ago, like its host
Palm Beach, has grown into an authentic international event
in the world of art and antiques.
Viscount and Viscountess Rothermere were the international
honorary chairs. Mr. and Mrs. S. Christopher Meigher
III, Mrs. William H. Pitt and Thomas C. Quick were honorary co-chairs.
Audrey (Mrs. Martin) Gruss was gala chair.
After the Vernissage more than a hundred of the evening’s
patrons and supporters gathered at the popular Club Colette
on Peruvian Avenue in Palm Beach for a dinner celebrating the
event's fundraising success. The following are more photos
