Walking through the 53rd Annual Winter Antiques Show

Lots of red dots on opening night.

The 53rd annual Winter Antiques Show opened last Thursday night with a preview benefiting the East Side House Settlement, chaired by Arie Kopelman with Shari Redstone as honorary chair.  This year the show also features a loan exhibition of a collection of furniture, paintings and artifacts from the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  The museum is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of fine and decorative arts made in the American South before 1820. The show itself has 74 exhibitors this year and runs through next Sunday, January 28.  Here is a broad selection of this year’s exhibitors.
