The 53rd annual Winter Antiques Show opened last Thursday night with a preview benefiting the East Side House Settlement, chaired by Arie Kopelman with Shari Redstone as honorary chair. This year the show also features a loan exhibition of a collection of furniture, paintings and artifacts from the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The museum is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of fine and decorative arts made in the American South before 1820.
