| On Thursday, September 17, The Animal Medical Center (AMC) held its First Annual Living Legends Luncheon at the Harmonie Club in Manhattan. Over 100 people gathered to applaud the amazing ongoing recoveries of two animals who are receiving treatment at The Animal Medical Center: 8-Ball the Cat, who suffered from congestive heart failure, and Lady the Beagle, who is obese and had tears in her knees rendering her immobile. Jill Rappaport, NBC’s Today Show correspondent, was the host for the lunch and the event co-chairs were Barbara Hoffman, Kane Nussbaum, Annette Osnos and Helene Stein. Gleniss Schonholz, Interim CEO, and Robert Liberman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, made welcoming remarks and then Dr. Ann E. Hohenhaus, senior medical advisor at The AMC, introduced Dr. Philip Fox, Dr. Deirdre Chiaramonte and Renee Shumway, the veterinarians and rehab coordinators who have been caring for 8-Ball and Lady. They spoke about the treatments they have administered and why these two special animals are true Living Legends. |

| Denise Rich along with her daughter Daniella Rich Kilstock hosted a private Cocktail party to celebrate the upcoming Angel Ball being held on October 20th at Cipriani Wall Street. Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research was created in 1996 by Denise and her daughters and son in-law, Daniella Rich Kilstock, Ilona Rich Schachter and Philip Aouad in memory of Rich’s daughter, Gabrielle Rich Aouad.
