Sunday night in New York, Calvin Klein, Inc. made it’s mark on Fashion week by celebrating the company’s first four decades with a one-of-a-kind, star-studded event, which included a rare visit to the High Line – one of the most eagerly anticipated public spaces to open in New York City in decades.
The company’s 40th Anniversary event was attended by the following, who were all wardrobed in looks from the Calvin Klein brands. The official anniversary event was held at a custom designed space designed by renowned architect John Pawson alongside the High Line – the elevated rail structure soon to become a public park – in the West 30s along Tenth Avenue.
The evening included music by DJ’s Paul Sevigny, Court 24, Jelly Bean Benitez spinning in separate sets, and an unannounced special performance by Estelle. Along with her two back-up singers, she performed “New York, New York” as well as her new single “Pretty Please” and “American Boy.”
