The Guild Board of Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago (“BGCC”) hosted its 4th annual summer gala, “The Skyline Ball: A Celebration of Chicago,” at the Saddle & Cycle Club in Chicago. The Hon. Richard M. and Mrs. Maggie Daley served as Honorary Co-Chairs, and the evening recognized all that is special about the City of Chicago. With the event already sold out, proceeds from The Skyline Ball will yield another record-setting fundraising total for the Guild Board in support of the important mission of the BGCC. The Co-Chairs of this year’s Skyline Ball were Guild Board members Ms. Molly Carroll, Ms. Courtney McGovern, and Mrs. Jennifer McKinney. This year, the Guild Board was proud to welcome Ralph Lauren as its signature retailer partner for the Skyline Ball. A number of specially-selected luxury items – from custom clothing to home furnishings – were being donated by Ralph Lauren as part of a raffle and drawing with income from ticket sales directly benefiting BGCC.

Ralph Lauren also provided special surprise gifts for each Ball attendee. The Ball featured a festive summer evening of dinner and dancing, complimented by special wines donated by the Guild’s longtime partner St. Francis Winery, and beer donated by the Guild’s newest partner, Goose Island Beer Co. Established in 2004, the Guild Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago is a group of fifty accomplished civic and business leaders from across the Chicago area who share a common commitment to the future of Chicago’s youth and the success of the Boys & Girls Clubs.
