DIFFA Launches the 2009 DINING BY DESIGN National Tour. |
| The 2009 National Tour of DINING BY DESIGN was launched last Thursday, March 26th at Pier 94 in New York. The National Tour New York launch concluded last night (Monday) with a gala dinner. Following DINING BY DESIGN New York, the installations will travel across the country to various cities including Kansas City, Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco, Chicago, and Columbus. |

| Tyra Banks, Suze Orman, and Keith Olberman were the honorees at this year’s GLAAD Media Awards this past Saturday night in New York. Clay Aiken presented Tyra Banks with the excellence in media award, which is presented to individuals who, through their work, have increased the visibility and understanding of the LGBT community in the media." T. R. Knight presented Suze Orman with the Vito Russo award, which recognizes an openly gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender media professional who promotes equal rights. Phil Donahue, an honoree at the first GLAAD Media Awards in 1990, was given a special recognition award, and Keith Olberman was on hand to accept an award for his show's segment "Special Comment: Gay Marriage is a Question of Love." Stockard Channing, Cherry Jones, Judith Light and Vanessa Williams were among the celebrities attending. |

| The Cinema Society and Ferragamo screened Two Lovers before the film’s stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Joaquin Phoenix, Vinessa Shaw, Elias Koteas and its director James Gray and the chic dinner and a starry crowd. After the screening, the group moved to the new Cooper Square Hotel for a dinner prepared by “caterer-to-the-stars” Mary Giuliani. |
