| Winterfest Family Fun Day at Wollman Rink in Central Park, benefitting K.I.D.S. |
On January 29th, Big City Moms and Scooter Magazine hosted Winterfest Family Fun Day, a not-to-be-missed kids ice skating event at Wollman Skating Rink. Kids brought their friends, met new ones, all while skating and enjoying the beautiful park views. There was even a full buffet lunch in a heated tent, a concert by Rockin Railroad, gift bags and some surprises!

| A portion of the proceeds will benefit K.I.D.S. Kids In Distressed Situations, a charity who provides brand new clothing, shoes, toys, books, baby products and more to 67 million children in need throughout the United States and overseas. With 26 years of service, K.I.D.S. has been able to effectively deliver essential merchandise to communities prone to chronic poverty, families suffering from life-altering and debilitating circumstances, and communities hit by natural disasters. |

On Sunday, January 29, 2012, KiDS of NYU Langone Foundation hosted its 6th annual KiDS Play to Win! Family Bowling Party at Chelsea Piers. With over 350 guests in attendance, the event raised $90,000 to enhance children's medical care at NYU Langone Medical Center. Friends and families of all ages enjoyed bowling, face-painting, caricaturists, balloon sculptures, and more. The event was co-chaired by Lisa Anderson, Abigail Scheuer Atema, Gabrielle Gold-von Simson, MD, MSc, Alexis Mintz, David Salsberg, PsyD, Britt Szostak and Michael Weaver.
Tuesday, April 3, KiDS will host the KiDS is Blooming! Springfling Gala at The Plaza Hotel. The event will honor Jeffrey C. Allen, MD, The Otto and Marguerite Manley and Making Headway Foundation Professor of Pediatric Neuro-Oncology, Director of Pediatric and Adult Neuro-Oncology Programs and Director of the Neurofibromatosis Center at NYU Langone.
