Last Wednesday night at Steven Greenberg’s Fifth Avenue penthouse Joan Rivers and Michael Urie hosted an evening thrown by Chip Duckett to celebrate Michael Musto’s 25th anniversary as the voice of the Village Voice. Ronnie Spector sang “Happy Anniversary” to the man of the hour, Joan and Mr. Urie had a few things to say and Murray Hill, the man not the neighborhood, emceed.
There was a stage show starring Tommy Femia, Bridget Everett, Dirty Martini, Vodka Stinger and Talulah DeBayous along with the man himself, purveyor of sometimes the down dirtiest, most shocking dish of the Downtown and sometimes all over town (and country). There was a big turnout, a hoot and more, plus razzle-dazzle, fish and frazzle. As well as a very good time had by all. The pictures tell the story. |
