| The New York Junior League celebrated 109 years of community service and honored seven members during its 58th annual Winter Ball, “A Winter Palace.” Guests gathered to celebrate the substantial body of volunteer work done by Outstanding Sustainers Helen Bearn Pennoyer and Pamela Bimson Reade and Outstanding Volunteers Christine Drinan, Fiona Grant, Amy Phelan, Jill Ferrari Rosen and Saundra Smith, while enjoying dinner and dancing at the Plaza. |

| André Leon Talley, editor-at-large for Vogue magazine, presided over the evening as emcee. Mr. Talley, who regularly works with the most celebrated names in the fashion, art and entertainment worlds, charmed the room with his repartee. In addition to his position at Vogue, he is also a member of the board of the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, where a lifetime-achievement award has been named for him. He was the 2003 recipient of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Eugenia Sheppard Award for Excellence in Fashion Journalism. |

| Last Thursday night at the Roseland Ballroom they held the 22nd ANNUAL BAILEY HOUSE AUCTION AND PARTY, hosted by Simon Doonan and Tim Gunn, with featured auction items such as an Atlantis Mexican Riviera cruise for two or a spa adventure getaway for two at the Gaia Hotel & Reserve in Costa Rica, plus experiences like four VIP tickets to Macy's 4th of July fireworks and parade, there was something for everyone to bid on — and at every price. | Last Wednesday night, East Side House Settlement hosted a kick-off party at the studio of artist Hunt Slonem to honor the Benefit Committee of the East Side House Settlement Gala Preview of the 2010 New York International Auto Show. 120 guests were welcomed by this year’s benefit committee co-chairs, Kipton Cronkite, Paige Ethington Hardy, and Fe Fendi. The event was sponsored by New York magazine and officially revved up this glamorous crowd for the Gala Preview event [2] on April 1, 2010. All proceeds from the event will benefit East Side House Settlement, a leading social services agency that serves young people and families in the South Bronx.
