| Marc Jacobs, the kid from the Upper West Side who went to Seventh Avenue, did it his way; then went to Paris, did it M. Arnault’s way, and became an international fashion star, had his show on Tuesday at the Lexington Avenue Armory. He still looks like the kid – a little older – and now in a suit a little more often – but the boy is probably the biggest money designer of his generation. The fashion media loved his collection and love his stardom. |

Philippe and David Blond are the guys who spiked the shoulders of Rihanna and dressed the American Idol Adam Lambert for his album. The Blonds delivered to the excitable crowd; bring on the crowns, bring on the clowns, pretty in pailettes, glitter, sparkles and good times. |
